The method and timing of control measures against moths, depends upon the species involved:

• Hygiene / Management - stacks of commodities should be arranged above the floor on pallets, prompt removal of spillages, regular inspection of fabrics;
• Adhesive Traps - toxicant strip, water or detergent used to trap the moths;
• Insecticidal Control - for the best results, insecticidal control should be integrated with good hygiene.
